LARGE FORMAT PRINTER - ANY PREVIOUS PRINT KNOWLEDGE CONSIDERED

Salary dependent on experience + 20 days' holiday + 8 bank holidays + an additional birthday day + statutory pension + full training and development

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Standard hours are 9:00am-5:30pm, with flexible start and finish times available, for example 7:30am-4:00pm.

We're working with a successful, growing print company in Northants that's looking for a print professional ready to broaden their skills and learn a new area of the industry.

If you have experience in any type of printing, this could be a great opportunity to move into large format production. You'll receive full training on modern Vutek presses, including impressive 5 metre wide machines, and learn to produce high-quality graphics for a range of applications.

What you'll be doing:

• Learning to set up and operate large format and superwide presses
• Preparing print jobs, substrates and media
• Checking print quality and making adjustments as you develop your skills
• Monitoring machines and learning to resolve basic operational issues
• Working to production schedules and deadlines
• Carrying out routine machine care and keeping your work area tidy
• Following quality, health and safety procedures
• Working with the wider production team to complete jobs efficiently

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in any type of print production
• Is keen to learn large format printing and develop new technical skills
• Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
• Is reliable, proactive and organised
• Can work to deadlines and contribute positively to a team
• Is interested in building a stable, long-term career in print
• Large format experience isn't required.
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate, including training on modern 5 metre wide presses.
