LARGE FORMAT PRINT OPERATOR

ESSEX

£30-35K (DOE) + Overtime (Time ½) + Pension

Our client is a well-established signage and graphics manufacturer based in Essex, known for producing high-quality signage and commercial vehicle graphics for a wide range of clients.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Large Format Print Operator to join their friendly and supportive production team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with large format print experience who enjoys being hands-on across the full production process, from printing through to finishing and preparing jobs for installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating large format digital printers (Roland roll-to-roll machines)
• Preparing print files and managing jobs through the VersaWorks RIP system (experience beneficial)
• Weeding, laminating and finishing printed graphics
• Preparing job packs and graphics ready for installation teams
• Running jobs through the CRM system to ensure accurate workflow and production tracking
• Colour matching to client brand guidelines
• Operating finishing equipment including laminators and plotters
• Trimming, cutting, mounting and laminating materials to specification
• Applying finishing touches such as grommets, hemming and eyelets for banners and other graphics
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure all work meets company and client standards
• Assisting with material ordering and stock control where required

Requirements

• Previous experience operating large format printers
• Experience with Roland printers and VersaWorks RIP would be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of large format finishing processes
• Good eye for detail, colour matching and quality control
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment
• A team player with a hands-on approach

This role would suit someone from a signage, graphics, vehicle graphics or large format print background who enjoys being involved in the full print and finishing process.
