LARGE FORMAT FINISHER - LARGE FORMAT / SIGNS

NORTHWEST LONDON

£Negotiable based on experience + socials, bike-to-work scheme, train / underground season ticket scheme, parking available, overtime

Our Client is a Large Format Digital Print Company based in London, they offer their clients a mix of products from retail displays, POS, Exhibition Graphics to props and backdrops for film and TV!

They are currently looking to recruit a Finisher / Printer who will report to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Mounting, Laminating, Flatbed Cutting, Laser Cutting and fabrication
• To finish a variety of materials, i.e., large format prints, vinyl and signage for a range of different projects from retail, events, sets and exhibitions, etc
• To ensure jobs are packed correctly for despatch
• To operate printers and cutters
• Work to company, client and site Health & Safety procedures
• To undertake quality control of finished items to ensure they meet standards and to report any issues to management
• Well-presented, friendly, hard-working and be able to communicate highly effectively in English, both verbal and written communications
• Knowledge of substrates including vinyl, foamex, foamboard, dibond, banner, wallpaper, acrylic, paper and card
• A highly effective person with strong planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work and liaise with people from 'all walks of life'
• A proactive approach to problem solving and able to work on own initiative and common sense to resolve issues
• Able to multi-task effectively switching between the different functions of this role and work under pressure to meet deadlines, able to prioritise and multitask effectively
• Good attention to detail, dependable with a positive attitude

Experience:

• Experience in managing projects from manufacturing to finishing
• Experience in using Large Format Printers, CNC Machine, Mounting, Laminating, Guillotine and Laser Cutter
