An established multi-site manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager & Projects Lead to manage a portfolio of strategic B2B accounts across a technical plastics manufacturing environment. This role combines commercial account ownership with hands-on project management responsibility, ensuring customer programmes, product launches, engineering changes and commercial agreements are delivered effectively across multiple operational sites.
The successful candidate will act as the main customer contact owning a defined portfolio of key account in diverse industries such as Retail /POS, Automotive, Medical, Electrical, Waste Management & Construction, across all operating sites, managing long-term relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving revenue growth within existing accounts. The role requires strong commercial awareness, project management capability and the ability to work closely with operations, quality and technical teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in account management or commercial roles within plastics manufacturing
- Strong experience managing customer projects, product launches or engineering/programme changes
- Commercially confident with pricing, forecasting and customer negotiations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience within technical or industrial manufacturing environments advantageous
- Automotive or regulated manufacturing sector experience beneficial
- Full UK driving licence required
