Our client is a global manufacturer of corrugated packaging products, they are a forward thinking company with exciting growth plans who have and are making huge investment within the company.

They are currently looking for a driven and experienced Key Account & Business Development Manager to increase growth within the FMCG markets. This role has a combination of account management and new business development,
focusing on building strong partnerships, driving innovation and creating compelling value-led propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of key customer relationships, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives
  • Develop and deliver joint business plans to unlock mutual growth
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities within FMCG and foodservice
  • Increase category penetration and strengthen the company's footprint in target markets
  • Build and present compelling, value-based customer stories highlighting the company's innovation and sustainability credentials
  • Translate customer needs into impactful solutions that drive measurable results
  • Partner with internal teams to bring new product concepts to market
  • Act as a customer advocate for innovation, ensuring engagement throughout the development process
  • Manage pipeline and performance tracking through Salesforce CRM
  • Use data insights to shape strategy and enhance decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven success in Key Account Management and Business Development within FMCG and/or Foodservice
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to negotiate and influence at senior level
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to create persuasive, value-driven proposals
  • Experienced in Salesforce CRM or similar systems
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented
  • Passion for innovation, sustainability, and collaborative partnerships
