HOURS OF WORK: MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 8.30am till 5pm (30mins Lunch)

Our client is a specialist corrugated packaging manufacturer based in the Midlands, they supply their clients with digital, screen and litho printed specialist packaging products and point of sale displays.

They are currently looking for a Junior Structural Designer to join their team. You will work alongside experienced designers and technicians to explore the potential of corrugated materials and bring them from a sketch to finished product. This is a hands on role where you will gain practical and commercial experience developing packaging concepts using industry standard CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing structural packaging concepts from initial idea through to fully manufacturable designs
• Using industry-standard CAD software and prototyping equipment to bring concepts to life
• Tackling real-world design challenges for well-known brands
• Applying sustainable design principles with a strong understanding of material performance
• Working closely with production teams to refine, optimise, and finalise designs
• Ongoing skill development and training in structural packaging, CAD systems, and manufacturing techniques
