INJECTION MOULDING SETTER

LANCASHIRE

£ Salary dependant on level of experience + Benefits (Pension, Death in Service Benefit etc)

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off (12 hour shifts)

Our client is a leading Plastic Injection Moulding manufacturer. Specialising in Plastic Injection Moulding and Design Engineering with a passionate team of highly experienced in house Engineers, Toolmakers and Injection Moulding teams.

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Injection Moulding Setter. You will be responsible for installing mould tooling, setting and adjusting machine parameters, and ensuring products are manufactured consistently to the required quality standards

Responsibilities:

• Carry out mould set-ups and tool changes efficiently and in line with the production schedule.
• Carry out real-time maintenance on primary tooling, machinery and auxiliary equipment as required.
• Work alongside the Maintenance Department to assist with technical issues as they arise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with equipment, providing effective short-term fixes and supporting longer-term solutions.
• Assist with and carry out tool trials as required.
• Support the company in achieving its quality objectives and maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
• Carry out all duties safely and responsibly, in accordance with company health and safety procedures and standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing
• Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment
• Industry recognised injection moulding qualification
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive can-do attitude
