SALARY £25,790 + Attractive Overtime Rates + 26 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays

4 DAY WORKING WEEK - MONDAY TO THURSDAY (6AM TILL 3:30PM)

Our client is a privately owned folding carton manufacturer based in the South Wales, supplying to a range of markets including confectionary and pharmaceutical. They cover all carton styles manufacturing cartons for some of the UK's largest brands in solid board, foil, corrugated and plastic substrates and have been established for over 75 years.

They are currently looking for an experienced Gluing Operator to join their Finishing Department. You will be responsible for playing a key role in operating and maintaining folding-gluing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and maintain folding-gluing machinery to deliver consistent, high-quality production
• Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all work meets strict quality, safety, and performance standards
• Work closely with your Team Leader and colleagues to achieve daily output and quality objectives
• Conduct in-process quality checks, promptly reporting any concerns to the Quality Control team
• Keep accurate production records and maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Experience operating folding-gluing machinery (Signature, Vega, Bobst, or similar)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail
• Team-focused, reliable, and proud of producing high-quality work
• A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude with flexibility to support business needs
