GLUING OPERATOR - CARTONS

CAMBRIDGSHIRE

SALARY £34-40K (Depending on Experience) + 27 Days Holiday including Bank Holidays + Training and Progression Opportunities + Accidental Life Insurance + Health and Wellbeing Program + 5% Employers Pension Contribution

** 4 DAY WORKING WEEK - 40HRS PER WEEK ON DOUBLE ROTATION **
6AM - 4PM (TUES TO FRI) & 3.45PM - 1.45AM (MON TO THUR)

Our client is a well-established privately-owned company, manufacturing a full range of added value carton packaging for premium toiletries, cosmetics and beverage markets. They pride themselves on top quality customer service from full-service design capabilities to the latest in press technology.

They are currently looking for a Gluing Operator to join their Finishing/Gluing Department. You will be using the latest Bobst and Baumer HHS equipment to achieve the high-quality finish their customers expect.

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience of the Packaging Sector and knowledge of Bobst Gluers

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience, as an operator, with the ability to make ready all styles including straight-line, crash lock and integral fitments
• Attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve, trouble shoot and innovate
• Capable of working to strict deadlines in a fast paced and adaptable environment
• Good communication skills
• Work with high quality materials, cartons and finishes
• Ensuring the companies quality standards are maintained
• Leading a small team, reporting to Gluing Manager
• Enthusiasm and determination to excel
