Permanent Day Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Our client is an independently owned Irish label company with a reputation for innovation, quality, and exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Flexographic Print Operator to join the production team on a permanent day shift.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern manufacturing environment, producing high-quality self-adhesive labels for a diverse range of industries while operating state-of-the-art printing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain an 8-colour flexographic printing press.
  • Prepare jobs in accordance with production schedules and customer specifications.
  • Achieve consistent colour matching and print quality throughout production runs.
  • Monitor print performance and make adjustments as required to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct quality checks and complete relevant production documentation.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of press equipment.
  • Minimise waste and maximise machine efficiency.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, and Finishing departments to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all company health, safety, and quality procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses is essential, label printing and knowledge of self adhesive label materials is desirable, however other format printers will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of flexographic printing processes and colour management.
  • Ability to read and interpret job specifications and production instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills.
