Salary £32K + Overtime at 1.5x

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday / 8am to 5pm

Our client is a well-established printing specialist producing bespoke flexographic and digitally printed products. They are looking for an experienced Flexo Printer to join their skilled production team.


The successful candidate will produce high-quality flexographic labels to company quality standards, operate and maintain flexographic presses, minimise waste, complete production records, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Print Production - Set up jobs using the correct materials, tooling and documentation.
  • Produce work to required quality and colour standards.
  • Follow the daily production schedule and minimise waste.
  • Complete production records and job documentation.
  • Report production issues and delays to the Production Supervisor.
  • Flexographic Press Operation - Operate and maintain flexographic printing presses safely.
  • Mix and colour-match inks.
  • Clean presses and carry out routine maintenance.
  • Identify and resolve print quality or machine issues where possible.
  • Report equipment faults and monitor consumable stock levels.
  • Quality & Materials - Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Handle materials safely and record material usage.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Health & Safety & Teamwork - Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
  • Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets.
  • Support continuous improvement and assist with training where required.
  • Be flexible with overtime and holiday/sickness cover when needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating flexographic printing presses.
  • Good understanding of print quality, colour matching and label production.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with routine machine maintenance.
  • Good communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible with overtime when required.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment
