HOURS: Monday To Friday 9am - 5:30pm

£28K - £32K (DOE) + 20 Days Holidays (Accrue a day each year to a maximum of 25) + Bank Holidays (Rising with length of service)

Our client is a well-established and growing print and graphics company specialising in Small Format Digital Print, Large Format Print, Graphics, POS and Signage solutions. Working across a broad range of sectors including Events, Agencies, Education, Rail and Nuclear, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their busy production team in Greater Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates across small and large format print projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong print industry knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and liaising with both internal teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for small format and large format digital print projects
• Liaising with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials and outsourced services
• Working closely with sales, production and account management teams to ensure quotes meet client requirements
• Producing detailed job specifications and assisting with project planning
• Ensuring estimates are commercially competitive while maintaining company margins
• Managing multiple quotations and prioritising workload effectively
• Maintaining and updating pricing within the MIS system
• Providing technical advice and print solutions where required

Requirements

• Ideally Clarity MIS Experience or Tharstern, Accura, Print IQ
• Previous estimating experience within the print, graphics or signage industry
• Strong understanding of digital print processes including small and large format
• Knowledge of substrates, finishing processes and print production methods
• Experience estimating for products such as POS, signage, exhibition graphics and display materials
• Excellent numerical and organisational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
• A proactive and team-focused approach
