Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Our client is a well-established and respected printing and graphics company based in Oxfordshire. They are now looking for an experienced and versatile Estimator / Large Format Printer to join their team. This role combines estimating with hands-on large-format print operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, operating a range of large-format printing and finishing equipment, and ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standard.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Prepare accurate quotations and job estimates using Tharstern MIS
- Operate large-format printers and finishing machinery, including OCE Canon Arizona flatbed and DYSS CAD cutting systems
- Manage print production from start to finish, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to specification
- Liaise with internal departments, clients, and suppliers to confirm details and project requirements
- Maintain equipment and ensure smooth workflow across the print floor
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain a tidy, organised workspace
- Proven experience in large-format print production or estimating
- Strong understanding of print processes, materials, and finishing techniques
- Proficient in Tharstern MIS or similar print management software
- Skilled in operating OCE Canon Arizona printers and DYSS CAD finishing systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Familiarity with a range of large-format print and finishing equipment
- Flexible approach with willingness to assist across departments
