Salary £13.01 to £13.89 per hour dependant on experience + pension + cycle to work

Hours of work: 38 per week, Monday 07.30-16.00, Tuesday to Thursday 07.45-16.00, Friday 07.45-15.00.

A leading signage installation specialist is seeking a Digital / Vinyl Operator to join their team in the Tyne and Wear area.

Duties

• Prepare substrates for the application of vinyl and prints
• Apply vinyl to various substrates
• Print finishing, trimming, mounting and lamination of large-format material
• Obtain raw materials such as sheets and rolls for each vinyl sign making project
• Production of graphics - printing, plot, weed & back
• Have an excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow specific client briefs.
• Day to day cleaning and maintenance of work area

The successful candidate will:

• Have a strong track record of working well with others
• Be able to demonstrate an excellent level of teamworking
• Be able to quickly fit-into and contribute to a well- established team
• Ideally have experience of working in signage manufacture in a vinyl application capacity however candidates with transferrable experience gained in a similar environment such as working with graphics, or in light manufacturing, will also be considered
• Candidates showing aptitude will, in time, be trained on additional processes within the Digi / Vinyl area such as printing, laminating etc.
