DIGITAL SIGNAGE / LED TECHNICAL INSTALLER

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing specialist business within the digital signage and visual communications sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add experienced Digital Signage / LED Technical Installers to their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced installer who enjoys working with technology and wants to develop their technical skillset further. The role will involve installing, commissioning and maintaining a range of digital signage, LED displays and associated hardware across customer sites throughout the UK.

The company is happy to consider candidates with strong technical installation experience who may not have worked specifically with digital signage or LED, as full training can be provided for the right person.

Working as part of a professional installation team, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning digital signage, LED displays and associated equipment.
• Carrying out installations across a variety of commercial and customer environments.
• Working with LED screens, digital displays, media players, control systems and associated hardware.
• Undertaking cabling, containment, mounting and equipment installation.
• Carrying out testing, fault finding and basic technical troubleshooting.
• Reading technical drawings, installation plans and schematics.
• Ensuring installations are completed safely, professionally and to a high standard.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and customers on-site.
• Travelling throughout an allocated UK territory, with occasional European installations.
• Completing installation documentation and reporting any issues or requirements.
• Supporting service, maintenance and remedial works where required.

About You

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within digital signage, LED, AV, electrical installation, telecommunications, technical installation or a similar environment.
• We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
• Previous experience installing digital signage, LED or AV equipment.
• A good understanding of technical installations and associated hardware.
• Experience with cabling, mounting, containment and equipment installation.
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach when working on customer sites.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Flexibility to travel and stay away when required.

Digital signage experience is preferred but not essential. Candidates from a strong technical installation background will be considered, with training available to develop the successful applicant's knowledge of the specific technology and systems.
