Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm / Friday 3.30pm
Our client is an established and growing signage company based in West Yorkshire, specialising in the production and installation of signage and graphics for a range of sectors, including retail, shopping centres, high street stores and healthcare.
The Role
- We are looking for an experienced Digital Print / Vinyl Graphics Technician to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of production and vinyl application duties, including:
- Preparing production artwork and plot files.
- Cutting, weeding and applying vinyl graphics to a variety of applications.
- Operating large-format printers, laminators and cutter-plotters.
- Producing and applying vehicle wraps and decals accurately, ensuring the correct application techniques and finishes are achieved.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
- Time-Served Expertise: A minimum of 3 years' experience within the sign industry, along with a portfolio demonstrating a variety of projects.
- Technical Skills: Good experience and knowledge of vinyl application and large-format print.
- Attention to Detail: A precise and thorough approach to measuring, cutting and finishing, ensuring vinyl graphics and digital prints are aligned correctly and that all sign systems meet the required standard before leaving the workshop.
- Full Driving Licence: A full driving licence and the ability to drive company vehicles throughout the UK for client site installations.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills, reliability and a willingness to support colleagues within a busy and collaborative workshop environment.
- Problem Solver: The ability to identify and resolve production issues and provide practical solutions quickly.
