SALARY £OPEN (Depending on Experience) + Company Pension

SHIFTS: 12hrs per week: Thur/Fri/Sat - 1 day off then Mon/Tue/Wed - 7 days off Currently days, however this is changing to days / nights (rotating)

Our client is a manufacturer of cardboard envelopes based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Die Cutting Operator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Dakiou Flat Bed Die Cutter to die cut materials according to specifications
• Read and interpret drawings, and work orders
• Monitor the cutting and creasing process to ensure accuracy and quality
• Set up and adjust cutting tools and equipment
• Inspect finished cartons for defects and make necessary adjustments

Requirements:

• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of materials handling
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
• Proficiency in using hand tools for adjusting and repairing as necessary
• Attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment maintaining high standards of quality
• A can-do positive attitude
• Ability to work as part of a Team
• Excellent communication skills
