CUT & CREASE OPERATOR - NIGHTS

SALARY: DOE + SHIFT PREMIUM

SHIFTS: PERMANENT NIGHTS - MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 9:00PM - 6:00AM - PAID FOR 37.5 HOURS WITH A 20 MINS BREAK (162 HOURS PER MONTH)

Our client is a well invested independent print & folding carton manufacturer. In-house they have state-of-the-art printing presses, the latest folding technology and a range of finishing equipment. Supplying clients in the confectionary, food, cosmetics, healthcare & pharma to pet care markets

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cut & Crease Operator to join their production team who is capable of running an Eterna however training can be given.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and maintain the cut and crease machine (Eterna preferred)
• Ensure work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with production schedules
• Conduct quality checks throughout the run to maintain product standards
• Minimise waste through careful setup and efficient operation
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Work closely with the production team to meet customer requirements and deadlines
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment in line with company policies

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cut and crease operator (Eterna Machinery Highly Desirable)
• Strong understanding of packaging and finishing processes
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, reliable and proactive approach to work
