£Open (Depending on Experience) + Occasional Overtime paid at 20% Once 40 hours have been worked + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

SHIFTS: Double Days

Our client is an independent manufacturer of high end printed folded cartons, a well-established business with a varied product offering working with small, medium and large clients in the in food, drink, gift, alcohol, beverage, cosmetics, leisure and FMCG markets. The company put a strong emphasis on quality, customer service and investing in the latest technology and equipment.

They are currently looking to recruit a skilled Cut & Crease Operator to work in their busy Cut & Crease department you will be operating Bobst Novacut Machines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Bobst Novacut 106 machines, including setup, make-ready, and die-cutting production.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machines run at peak efficiency.
  • Prepare and troubleshoot Cut & Crease tooling, including cutting dies, speed strip dies, and female stripping dies.
  • Accurately use counters and creasing matrix during the make-ready process.
  • Operate and maintain embossing and debossing dies to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deliver outstanding results for customers.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience operating Cut & Crease (Die-Cutting) machinery.
  • Strong technical knowledge of print finishing processes and excellent mechanical aptitude.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and positive individual with a proactive approach to work.
  • Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take on supervisory responsibilities.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Bobst Novacut 106 or similar die-cutting equipment is highly desirable.
