HOURS OF WORK: MONDAY TO THURSDAY - 7AM TILL 6PM
Our client is a well-established corrugated packaging company based in the North West. They are currently looking to recruit a Cut & Crease Operator to join their team
They are currently looking for a Cut & Crease Operator to join their production department. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery, working in dedicated capacity specialising in a single machine or class of machines this will include a Bobst Eterna
Responsibilities:
- Operate and run a Bobst Eterna Machine
- Set up, run, and monitor machines to ensure optimal performance and output quality
- Maintain safe working practices in line with company and machine safety standards
- Carry out small to moderate machinery repairs as required
- Report any faults, breakdowns, or safety issues to the Works Engineer promptly
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications
- Verify that adequate materials and supplies are available to complete production runs
- Analyse machine performance and output, making adjustments as needed for changeovers or varying production requirements
- Maintain optimal running speeds without compromising product quality
- Ensure adherence to the production schedule and all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of safe machine operation standards
- Good technical ability and mechanical aptitude
- Physical agility and spatial awareness
- Proven problem-solving ability and the capacity to work with minimal supervision
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
- Self-motivated with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
