SALARY: Competitive
HOURS: 8:30am to 5:30pm & during busy periods you will go to a 2 shift rota (6am to 2:30pm and then 2pm to 10pm rotating)

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating coating and rewinding machinery used in the production of labels and related materials. The role requires strong attention to detail, a quality-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively within a production team to meet operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor coating and rewinding machinery to ensure efficient production output.
- Apply coatings and finishes to labels in line with quality and production specifications.
- Carry out routine quality inspections and identify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Prepare machinery, materials, and equipment for daily production schedules.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Support troubleshooting and basic machine maintenance activities where required.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and performance targets.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing, print, labels, packaging, or production environment preferred.
- Experience operating coating, rewinding, or similar machinery would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of production processes and quality control standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns when required.
