CASEMAKER / PRINTER SLOTTER OPERATOR

WEST YORKSHIRE

SALARY: OPEN DEPENDING ON THE LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

LATE SHIFT - 2PM TO 10PM

Our client is a very well established, independent Corrugated Packaging company based in West Yorkshire, they are looking to recruit an experience Casemaker / Printer Slotter Operator to work on a fixed late shift (2pm-10pm)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and all equipment is in a safe & serviceable condition
• Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work
• Report any safety and hazard faults to the relevant person
• Ensure customer quality standards are always maintained, including colour control on printed cases, die cut cases are matched to spec, glue gaps are controlled/consistent
• Have a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns
• Keeping the Line Manager informed of work progress
• Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checks)
• Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required
• Work in other areas of the casemaker department as and when required
