BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - POS

Location: Home-based (UK-wide travel) - Head Office South East (onsite approx. 1 day per fortnight)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Commission (Typical Package - 8% of sales) + Benefits

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke point-of-sale, retail display and interior solutions. Working across multiple markets - including POS, retail, lighting, office and hotel furniture - they deliver high-quality, tailored sheet metal and tube fabrications plus card and plastic products for leading brands and retailers throughout the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Business Development Manager to join a growing, design-led business. You'll be responsible for winning new business across the UK and then managing and developing those accounts long term.

This is a home-based role with nationwide travel, with the expectation to visit head office approximately one day every fortnight for team meetings and project reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively target and secure new business opportunities in POS, retail display, and associated markets
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and manage accounts you bring into the business
  • Work closely with internal design and production teams to deliver bespoke solutions that meet client needs
  • Manage the full sales process from prospecting to project handover
  • Keep up to date with market trends and competitor activity

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales - ideally within POS /Display in furniture, retail or manufacturing markets
  • Strong hunter mentality with excellent relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage projects from concept to delivery, liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and able to work remotely
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
