Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers and printers of extruded films, currently looking to recruit an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

The role of the Business Development Manager will to be to develop new business as well as grow the companies market presence. The chosen candidate can be from either a manufacturer or distributor background with experience selling polythene / film products.

Responsibilities / Personal Attributes:

• Proactively generate and secure new business opportunities to strengthen market share and drive company growth
• Create and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue objectives
• Develop lasting relationships with clients, key decision-makers, and industry contacts
• Produce regular updates and reports on sales activity, pipeline progression, and business performance
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market changes to uncover potential opportunities
• Proven background in sales or business development within the packaging sector
• Experience selling packaging solutions from either a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Skilled at establishing and nurturing long-term customer relationships
• Confident communicator with a proactive and motivated approach
• Self-driven individual with excellent initiative and commercial awareness
