Our client is a privately owned Direct Mail specialist. With over 30 years' experience within the industry, they have acquired various accreditations such as, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 27001, they provide their clients with Direct Mail, Direct Marketing & Postage, along with Hybrid / Digital Mail and Data services.

The company are going from strength to strength and they are now looking to recruit an additional Business Development Manager to join their team. The role will be predominantly homebased, the company have prospects, lapsed client data for the chosen candidate to target as well as targeting new business.

Responsibilities / Candidate Attributes:

  • Selling Direct Mail, Direct Marketing and Postage to a range of clients.
  • The chosen candidate will be from a Direct Mail background or Printing.
  • Project Management of key accounts from enquiry, quotation, through to mailing out.
  • Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with clients
  • Advise clients of improved pack formats and production methods for cost and production efficiency
  • Liaise with external suppliers ensuring stocks supplied meet the company's specifications for lasering and enclosing
  • Be motivated and have the drive to win New Business
  • Happy to work from home as well as travelling to meet new clients at client sites
  • To follow up all enquiries, record progress of all enquiries and translate into a monthly report, including business / product trends, enquiry conversion predicted sales.
