BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - CARTON PACKAGING

Salary £OPEN (Depending on Experience) + Commission + Car Allowance + Pension

Our client is a well-established carton packaging company based in the South East. The company pride themselves in producing litho printed folded cartons to a range of markets including the food sector.

They are currently looking to recruit a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to drive 100% new business sales within the carton packaging sector. The ideal candidate will already have a strong network of contacts and a proven track record in packaging sales. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running and deliver immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for bringing in new business and retaining accounts
• Develop and execute a new business sales strategy focused on carton packaging
• Identify and pursue opportunities within pharma, open food, and non-food sectors
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients
• Report on sales pipeline and performance regularly
• Compete effectively on price with key competitors

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales within the packaging industry (ideally carton packaging)
• Strong existing contacts and industry network
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
