Our client based in West Yorkshire help creative and trade customers with print
projects, big and small. With hundreds of products made in-house, they take
designs and ideas to create unique pieces of merchandise and print. They specialise in fast turnaround screen, digital & wide format printing with finishing inhouse, along with a huge capacity on sublimation & embroidery.

They are looking for an Artworker to join their team, you will be responsible for tasks such as checking artwork received, preparing supplied print files for final production, producing print proofs and print files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly review and verify received design files against specification supplied by project management team
  • Amend, retouch and where necessary rework artwork files created by clients' designers ensuring files are correctly formatted and print ready
  • Create accurate print proofs for client approval, ensuring they accurately represent the final printed product
  • Facilitate client review and approval processes directly with client or via project management team
  • Maintain high standards of service by ensuring artwork accuracy
  • Respond promptly inquiries rearing artwork and proofs
  • Collaborate closely with print production team to ensure seamless integration of artwork into printing process
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members and other departments to clarify requirements and resolve and artwork-related issues and project managers, clients and designers.
  • Continuously seek ways to streamline the artwork preparation process for enhanced efficiency

Requirements

  • Artwork and graphic design skills
  • Experience in print production and proof creation with a strong understanding of print processes, file preparation and proofing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot file issues and solve problems that may arise during artwork preparation process
  • Knowledge of and typography, colour theory and layout principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective collaboration with the clients and wider team
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
