Salary £45K (possibly more depending on experience)+ Car + Commission + Bonus + Pension + Life Assurance + Enhanced Holiday + Health cash plan

We currently require an Area Sales Manager for the North West England, Scotland and Ireland territory, to include Birmingham and North Wales.

As an Area Sales Manager you will play a vital role in maintaining and growing the territory business. You will be the face of the company both to new and existing customers, selling self-adhesive material and the high-quality customer service customers and end users expect. Our client is a global manufacturer of labelling solutions, supplying rollstock adhesive materials to label converters & printers.

The role requires self-motivation, there will be a larger focus on your ability to build strong customer relationships than meeting new business targets.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of labels, films, print or adhesive materials into a range of market sectors.

Duties could include:

  • Promoting and selling company products across designated area
  • Assisting with the implementation of sales strategy
  • Managing existing customer relationships
  • Reinforcing long term partnerships
  • New business development
  • Responding to product enquiries
  • Planning your weekly schedules to meet your own sales appointment targets
  • Calling potential customers (warm and cold)
  • Following up generated leads
  • Providing information to ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality, delivery commitments and project completion dates
  • Handling negotiation of contract terms
  • The ability to work remotely and to structure day to day workload
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping in conjunction with Sales Support
  • In depth knowledge of sales strategy, analysis of customer enquiries and spend
  • Set budgets, achieve monthly and annual targets
