Initially the role will be to cover during a staff members maternity leave. However, with the current growth rate the business is experiencing the role could become a permanent position.

Our client is one of the UK's most innovative developers and manufacturers of recyclable packaging materials for the construction, packaging and retail display sectors.

A family run business who have been established for over 60 years. Due to the continued growth of their packaging solution division, they are seeking to recruit a Transport and Customer Service Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for arranging and booking transportation for deliveries to their valued customers, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

This position requires exceptional customer service and communication skills, as you'll be liaising with customers, transport providers, and internal teams. Strong administrative and organisational abilities are also vital to manage schedules, handle bookings, and maintain accurate records. You will need to enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering excellent service.

Requirements:

  • Experience in booking transport deliveries and managing logistics
  • A knack for building strong relationships with customers and resolving queries efficiently
  • Proactive, organised approach to juggling multiple tasks and priorities
