HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5:30pm

Our client are specialists in high quality large format graphics and signage company based in Hertfordshire. Using the very latest high-quality digital printers with direct to media capabilities, digital cutters and in-house acrylic fabrication means they can cover a broad range of requirements. From both large and small POS signage, vinyl's, banners, posters, hoardings, wall / window graphics etc.

They are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Studio Manager to join their small and friendly production team. The chosen candidate will have pre-press art-working experience.

You'll be helping to produce high-quality artwork while ensuring they consistently deliver their core values of quality, service, and speed to the customers.

Previous experience in large format print production and manufacturing is essential

Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of pre-press print production - ranging from simplistic small and large format print to complex manufacturing build projects.
  • Taking customer briefs and converting briefs into detailed technical drawings.
  • Producing assembly drawings, calculating yield of materials, assessing proposed. production methods and identifying any potential issues with material etc.
  • Customer liaison.
  • Managing the art-working team to prioritise workload, review and sign-off artwork before Production.
  • Designing and creating products using Adobe suite - including illustrator and photoshop for customer requirements and specifications - essential.
  • Communicating and liaising with the Production Team to ensure products are produced to the highest possible standard and quality.
  • Assisting Production Team with RIP support and print finishing.

Requirements:

  • You'll conduct yourself confidently with a friendly, professional and customer-centric approach.
  • You must be able to prioritise, multi-task and manage your time effectively, and work to often tight timescales.
  • You have an aptitude for hands-on work with a "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a wider team, with the flexibility in working to complete jobs to meet customer expectation.
  • A careful and diligent work ethic, with a genuine commitment to delivering first class work and customer service.
  • Clear and effective communication skills (verbal and written), with a demonstrable stable and calm behaviour
  • Large format and manufacturing pre-press print production
