Salary: DOE (Three Bands Available) + Overtime + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Onsite Parking + Uniform

Double Days:
Earlies: 7am -3pm (Mon-Fri)
Latess: 1:30pm - 10pm (Mon-Thurs) 1pm - 7pm Friday

Our client is a packaging manufacturer based in the North West, they supply printed packaging to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, cosmetics, personal care and food markets.
They are currently looking to recruit a Pre Press and Print Operator to join their team, this can be at a Junior or Senior Level, the position as two sections; please see details below:

PRE-PRESS

• Read and understand the job schedule
• Understand and use the Work Instructions (Job Bag)
• Plate issue and checking
• Print cylinder set-up
• Plate mounting
• Ink mixing
• Forme and counter selection
• Board allocation
• Plate cleaning and return to store
• Understand and complete all Q.C. documentation
• Operate forklift (grab) and reach truck (If Qualified)

PRINT

• Load anilox
• Load ink font
• Load board
• Load and set print cylinder
• Set up auto register
• Set up cutting forme
• Understand and use the Work Instructions (Job bag)
• Use of Densitometer
• Selection of anilox and colour strength
• Understand and complete Pass Sheet / QMC / all Q.C. documentation

QUALITY / GMP / HYGIENE - OBJECTIVES

• Understand and follow the CAPA / Improvement Process, when appropriate
• Understand and follow the Quality Process Flow Charts, including CCP's

PRODUCTION - OBJECTIVES

• Maintain output according to the schedule
• Assist the Pre-press & Print Manager with training of new personnel
• Maintain and clean print machine
• Weekly factory cleaning, to the schedule
