SALARY: £40K-44K (Depending on Experience)

HOURS OF WORKING: NIGHT SHIFT - Monday to Thursday - 9PM TILL 6AM

Our client is a manufacturer of high quality printed folded cartons, providing bespoke solutions to a range of market sectors including food, cosmetics, general manufacturing and gift industries etc.

They are currently looking to recruit a Night Shift Heidelberg Print Minder. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining lithographic printing equipment to deliver high-quality printed materials in a fast-paced production environment. The role requires a skilled & reliable individual who can ensure production targets, quality standards and deadlines are consistently achieved while supporting the wider print team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Heidelberg lithographic printing presses to achieve high production and quality standards
  • Ensure all print jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed deadlines
  • Carry out routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Monitor print quality throughout production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain standards
  • Follow all company health & safety procedures and quality control processes
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support production requirements and workflow
  • Provide flexibility to cover overtime, holiday cover and additional shifts when required
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating or assisting on a lithographic printing press
  • Experience with Heidelberg presses is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong understanding of print production processes and quality standards
  • Ability to identify and resolve equipment or print quality issues efficiently
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of work
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to use initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to changing production demands
  • Positive team player who can also work independently when required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
