LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR
COMMUTABLE FROM CAMBRIDGESHIRE / HERTFORDSHIRE / BEDFORDSHIRE
Salary up to £31K (Depending on Experience) + 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
Hybrid Working - 37 Hours Per Week - 3 Days a Week in the Office Minimum
Our client is a global packaging development company who offer innovative, premium packaging solutions to luxury brands predominantly in the health & beauty, spirits, homeware, candles, watches and fine fragrance markets.
They are currently looking for a Logistics Administrator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing shipping documentation - worldwide
- Data Entry
- Liaising with freight forwarders
- Obtaining quotes, sea, air, road and courier
- DHL/Fedex Booking couriers & documentation
- Setting up new projects on Microsoft teams
- Uploading documents onto Microsoft Teams
- Forecasts on supply projects
- Resolving any queries with deliveries/invoicing
- Assisting accounts with any payment issues re deliveries PODs etc
- Shipping schedules - worldwide - working with Factories both China and Europe to ensure production running smoothly
- Supply projects management - from raising delivery notes to invoicing
- Inventory Management various stock locations including Mexico and reports
- Stock reconciliation monthly
- GRN stock into transit and warehouse /client
- Monitoring shipments worldwide
- Maintaining and updating schedules with shipment details
Requirements:
- Microsoft Excel skills (Essential)
- Keen attention to detail (Essential)
- Microsoft Teams skills beneficial
- An excellent communicator
- Previous experience within logistics preferred but not necessarily (Essential)
- Ability to multitask and forward plan
- Be able to demonstrate a professional manner at all times
- Team player
