LARGE FORMAT PRINTER / FINISHER - LARGE FORMAT DIGITAL

BERKSHIRE

£28-36K (Depending on Experience) + Quarterly Bonus (if company targets hit)+ Overtime (Time & ½) + 21 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm

Our client is specialist large format graphics company based in the Soth East they are currently looking for a Production Operative to support all areas of print production and finishing. Daily duties included operating roll-to-roll latex and flatbed UV printers, laminating, trimming, mounting, vinyl weeding, taping, operating digital cutting equipment, applying fixings, and preparing completed work for packing, labelling, and dispatch.

Experience using Zund cutting systems is beneficial, alongside knowledge of laminators, vinyl plotters, latex, and UV print equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Updating internal production systems throughout each stage of the workflow
• Maintaining clear communication with colleagues to ensure efficient production processes and accurate job completion
• Reporting production updates and operational feedback to management to support continuous improvement
• Carrying out quality control checks to maintain high production standards
• Ensuring machinery and finishing equipment were maintained and operated in line with company procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Requirements:

• Strong teamworking skills and participation in daily production planning meetings
• Experience operating and maintaining finishing equipment including Zund cutters, laminators, and vinyl plotters
• Practical knowledge of mounting, laminating, vinyl application, and weeding techniques
• Experience working with latex and UV printing machinery
• Organised with effective communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a busy production environment
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail with a flexible and reliable approach to work
• Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when required
• Minimum of two years' experience within the large format print industry
