Up to £35K DOE + 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays + Overtime at Time ½ + Pension
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Our client is looking for an experienced Large Format Print Operator who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being hands-on with industry-leading print equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in large format print production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency and accuracy. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring jobs are completed on time and to specification.
As a Large Format Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of large format print machinery, ensuring all work is produced to the highest standards.
The production department is equipped with a SwissQprint Nyala 4 flatbed with roll-to-roll capability, a Canon Colorado M3W, and an EFI Pro 32r+, providing the opportunity to work with some of the most advanced equipment in the industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating large format print machinery safely and efficiently
- Monitoring print quality throughout production runs
- Preparing materials and setting up jobs accurately
- Performing routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Ensuring production targets and deadlines are achieved
- Working closely with the wider production team to maintain an efficient workflow
- Maintaining high standards of colour accuracy, finish and overall quality
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous experience operating large format print machinery within a print, signage or graphics environment
- Experience with SwissQprint, Canon Colorado or EFI UV equipment would be advantageous, although experience with similar large format machinery will also be considered
- A good understanding of print production processes, materials and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet production deadlines
- A reliable, organised and proactive approach to your work
