LARGE FORMAT FINISHER / ZUND OPERATOR

HERTFORDSHIRE / ESSEX BORDER

£OPEN + Overtime (X1.5 Week / X2 Weekends) + 20 Days Holiday + 1 extra day per year up to 25 days + 8 bank holidays + Christmas Close + Additional day for birthday month.

Hours: 9am - 5:30pm / Monday - Friday

Our client is a dynamic Large Format printing company specializing in high-quality outputs across various formats. They are currently looking for a Large Format Finisher / Zund Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and accountability for all finishing operations and resources to ensure production schedule is adhered to and efficiently achieved.
• Laminating various types of prints with seals & glues using laminating machines
• General print finishing duties - hand finishing
• Zund experience would be beneficial
• Unloading / Loading of material
• Reductions of waste by identifying cause. Working with Supervisor in identifying and eradicate costs where possible.
• Regular stock takes.
• Ensure time, materials and usages are recorded accurately. (including any re-prints)
• Be responsible for communicating internally providing update on any outstanding issues via daily production meeting with Supervisor.
• Adhering to Health and Safety, Environmental policies and procedures.
• Focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Helping with deliveries

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Must have excellent understanding of Large Format Print Finishing Processes
• Mounting/Laminating/Finishing experience
• Zund experience would be beneficial
• Excellent team player and work ethic
• Flexible attitude to overtime
• Working collaboratively
• Working with Courage & Integrity
• Ability to work on own initiative
