HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 8.30AM TILL 5.30PM
Our client is a well-established printed packaging manufacturer supplying into a wide range of market sectors in the UK. They produce packaging mainly for the retail sector which includes self-adhesive labels, linerless labels and printed folded cartons. These are produced using Lithographic, Flexographic and Digital Print Processes.
They are currently looking for an Internal Account Manager to be based onsite, working at the heart of their internal customer service and account management team. You will be responsible for raising and processing customer orders, managing allocated accounts and working seamlessly with colleagues across 3 manufacturing processes including printed folded cartons, self-adhesive labels and linerless labels being the daily point of contact for a portfolio of accounts, making sure every order moves smoothly from enquiry to delivery.
You must be able to work well within a team and on your own initiative to meet customers' requirements. You will use the company's purpose-built, user-friendly MIS system to manage orders and account data, with full training provided. This role offers an opportunity to learn about a range of print processes and build the skills to combine the full range of products and services available to their customer base, with genuine career progression on offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and refer incoming customer enquiries by phone and email
- Process incoming orders for all manufacturing processes within the business for printed folded cartons, self-adhesive labels and linerless labels, accurately and efficiently
- Manage order data using our purpose-built MIS system - full training will be provided
- Brief artwork and packaging changes through to their internal studio
- Track and monitor customer deliveries, keeping customers updated at every stage
- Prepare relevant samples for clients and customers
- Supporting the internal team across cartons, self-adhesive labels and linerless labels to keep orders on track
- Support involvement in New Product Development (NPD)
- Work with marketing to help deliver customer presentations when required
- Manage and see projects through to controlled deadlines
Requirements:
- A strong customer focus, with proven account management & customer interaction skills
- Good telephone manner and excellent administration skills, including Word & Excel
- A motivated and conscientious work ethic
- Pro-active with a problem-solving approach
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and see projects through to controlled deadlines
- Print experience is desirable but not essential - proven customer service and account management skills are most important
