HANDS ON PRODUCTION / INSTALLATION MANAGER ESSEX

SALARY £Open depending on experience + Overtime (Time ½)

HOURS: 8.00am to 5.30pm (1 hour lunch break)

Our client, a growing signage and graphics company, is seeking a hands-on Production / Installation Manager to lead a small team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily production to meet deadlines, quality, and budget
• Oversee scheduling, resources, and workflow (including installations)
• Operate/supervise printing, laminating, vinyl, and CNC equipment
• Lead, train, and support a team (2 direct reports)
• Maintain quality control, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes
• Manage stock, suppliers, and materials
• Carry out site surveys and signage installations as required
• Ensure health & safety standards are met

Requirements:

• Experience in signage, print, or manufacturing
• Proven team management skills
• Strong knowledge of print, vinyl, and CNC processes
• Organised, detail-focused, and hands-on
• Able to read technical drawings/specs
• Familiar with Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or similar
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• A practical leadership role ideal for someone proactive, reliable, and quality-driven.
