SHIFT PATTERN: 12HR SHIFTS - 3 ON / 1 OFF / 3 ON / 7 OFF

Our client is a privately owned board mill specialising in the manufacture and supply of solid board reels, cores, sheets, cartons, and cardboard envelopes. They are currently seeking a Folder Gluer Operator to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of a DGM folder gluer machine, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality packaging products in line with customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate DGM folder gluer machinery to meet production requirements
• Ensure all jobs are produced to the correct specification, quality, and deadline
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Perform quality checks throughout production runs
• Work collaboratively with other team members and departments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Adhere to all health & safety and company procedure

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a folder gluer machine (DGM preferred)
• Experience within the packaging industry is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical awareness
• Willingness to work a 12-hour shift pattern
