DRAUGHTSMAN X2 (SIGNAGE) KENT - (HYBRID WORKING AVAILABLE)

Salary: £35K - £40K + Paid Overtime

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

Our client is a signage company based in Kent. They are currently recruiting for two experienced Draughtsman with signage industry experience to join their established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded designer who enjoys taking signage concepts and developing them into accurate, production-ready drawings.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and artwork for a variety of commercial signage projects, working closely with internal teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical and ready for manufacture.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Producing detailed technical drawings for signage projects
• Developing designs from concepts through to production
• Creating accurate fabrication and installation drawings
• Working from client specifications, artwork and project requirements
• Liaising with production and project teams to ensure designs are practical and achievable
• Making amendments and revisions where required
• Ensuring drawings meet the required technical and production standards

About You:

• Looking for someone with proven experience within signage, graphics, fabrication or a closely related industry.
• You should have strong technical drawing skills and be confident using some of the following software: SolidWorks or AutoCAD / Adobe InDesign / CorelDRAW
• You will need excellent attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects while working to deadlines.
• Experience of commercial signage, fabrication, architectural signage or shopfitting would be highly advantageous.
