BASIC SALARY AUS $80,000 + 12% COMPANY SUPERANNUATION + OVERTIME AT PREMIUM RATES + LONG SERVICE LEAVE ACCRUAL

SHIFT PATTERN - DAY SHIFT - 5 X 8 HOUR SHIFTS - MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Our client is a leading cardboard packaging manufacturer in South Australia. They manufacture and print inhouse for a variety of brands covering the whole of Australia ensuring that they provide a high level of service while presenting high quality cardboard packaging and display solutions.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Bobst Flatbed Die Cutter Operator to join their production team. This role is ideal for a skilled operator with a strong background in solid board carton production who can confidently set up, run and maintain Bobst Expertcut 106 PER and Bobst Visioncut 106 LE Flatbed Die Cutters, ensuring high-quality output while meeting production targets.

The successful candidate will have proven experience operating 106 format flatbed die cutters with blanking, preferably on Bobst equipment, and a strong understanding of solid board converting rather than corrugated/fluted materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and optimise Bobst Expertcut 106 PER and Bobst Visioncut 106 LE Flatbed Die-Cutting Machines
• Carry out efficient machine make-readies, job changeovers and production adjustments
• Operate flatbed die cutters with integrated blanking systems to achieve maximum productivity
• Produce high-quality die-cut work on solid board, ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain optimum efficiency
• Perform routine quality checks throughout production runs
• Troubleshoot machine or production issues to minimise downtime and waste
• Complete production documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in accordance with company health and safety procedures
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production schedules and delivery deadlines

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with Cartons is Essential
• Hands-on experience running Bobst Expertcut 106 PER, Bobst Visioncut 106 LE or similar 106 format flatbed die cutters is desirable
• Experience using flatbed die cutters with blanking
• Ability to independently set up, operate and troubleshoot die-cutting equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good understanding of manufacturing health and safety practices
• Flexible, reliable and able to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment
• Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Team player with good communication skills
• Genuine interest in relocating from the UK to Australia
