TERRITORY: West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, South Yorkshire
Our client is a well-established corrugated packaging manufacturer based in West Yorkshire.
They are currently looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in promoting growth opportunities and generating new business generation within the targeted territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers
- Develop new business opportunities and follow up on incoming enquiries, understanding customer requirements and working closely with designers, production, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to clients
- Participate and engage in marketing and lead generation campaigns
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prepare regular reports and updates on account status
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's product line, materials, and production processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager preferably within the corrugated packaging or a related industry
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and convey technical information clearly to customers
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts effectively
- Flexibility to handle pressure and adapt to a fast-paced work environment
