ROTATING 3 SHIFT PATTERN: 6:00am - 1:30pm - Monday to Friday
1:30pm - 9:00pm - Monday to Friday
9:00pm - 6:00am - Monday to Thursday

Our client is an independent and highly successful manufacturer of printed folding cartons, supplying a range of markets including food, health and beauty, confectionery and gifting.

They are looking for an experienced B1 No1 Printer to join their team. You will be responsible for operating their B1 Komori Press, experience on this machinery will be desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating and setting B1 lithographic printing presses, ensuring consistently high standards of print quality
• Monitoring colour, registration and production quality, adjusting where required
• Working efficiently to minimise waste and downtime while achieving production targets
• Ensuring all work is completed to customer specification and within agreed deadlines
• Following company Health & Safety, BRC and quality procedures at all times
• Working closely with the wider production team and contributing to a positive, professional working environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working on B1 presses - experience with B1 Komori presses would be advantageous but is not essential
• Good understanding of print quality, machine productivity and the commercial impact of waste and quality issues
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, BRC and quality procedures
• A proactive attitude, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
• A reliable team player with good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work as part of a team across a rotating 3-shift pattern
