ROTATING 3 SHIFT PATTERN: 6:00am - 1:30pm - Monday to Friday
1:30pm - 9:00pm - Monday to Friday
9:00pm - 6:00am - Monday to Thursday

Our client is an independent and highly successful manufacturer of printed folding cartons, supplying a range of markets including food, health and beauty, confectionery and gifting.

They are looking for an experienced B1 Foil Blocking Operator to join their production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate B1 foil blocking machinery to meet production schedules and customer specifications
• Complete machine make-readies, including fitting dies, foils, tooling and setting pressures, temperatures and registration
• Check job specifications, samples and artwork before and during production
• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure finished work meets required standards
• Monitor machine performance, output, waste and downtime, working to agreed production targets
• Identify and resolve production issues, including registration, foil adhesion, feeding and tooling problems
• Complete production, quality and traceability paperwork accurately
• Carry out routine machine cleaning, maintenance checks and basic fault finding
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping, BRC and quality procedures
• Work closely with the wider production team to maximise efficiency, minimise waste and ensure jobs are completed on time
