ROTATING 3 SHIFT PATTERN:
6:00am - 1:30pm - Monday to Friday
1:30pm - 9:00pm - Monday to Friday
9:00pm - 6:00am - Monday to Thursday

Our client is an independent and highly successful manufacturer of printed folding cartons, supplying a range of markets including food, health and beauty, confectionery and gifting.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced B1 Die Cutting Operator to join their production team. Our client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed and experienced within the print and packaging industry, with a strong understanding of B1 die cutting and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Good knowledge and hands-on experience operating B1 die cutting machines
• Ensure jobs are set up correctly and running to the required production, quality and efficiency standards
• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure finished cartons meet customer specifications and production standards
• Report any mechanical, technical or quality issues promptly to the appropriate person
• Minimise waste and maximise machine uptime through efficient production practices
• Previous experience with blanking would be highly advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
• Strong self-motivation and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good commercial awareness, particularly around efficiency and machine productivity
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety, BRC and Quality procedures
• The ability to work confidently independently or as part of a close-knit production team
