REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

HOMEBASED

TERRITORY: WALES AND SOUTH WEST ENGLAND

Our client was established in 2008 and their core business activity is the supply of plastic reducing polythene products for the industrial sector. They operate nationwide with various warehouses in the South East and North West. Operating across all business sectors but the company has its core customer base in the food and beverage sector.
They are currently looking to recruit a Regional Sales Manager to cover the Wales and South West England. You will be reporting to the Sales Director.

Our client will provide any necessary training required, they encourage personal development courses to help develop your ability to perform your role to the highest standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • To grow the business in a sustainable, commercially conscious manner
  • Seek out new business sales opportunities with potential clients and build long term relationships
  • Using your specific product knowledge and expertise, explore opportunities to network with the company's existing clients to identify cross selling opportunities
  • Manage client contact info and log interactions within Hubspot CRM (training provided)
  • Deal with customer service issues and escalate to the appropriate department if needed
  • Ensuring the quality management action log is completed in each case
  • Report on sales and leads on a regular basis, including recording details of each 'lead' and its position in the sales funnel on Hubspot CRM
  • Take responsibility for timely stock turn for all new product lines
  • Be an ambassador for the company brand and act with honesty and integrity at all times
  • Achieve agreed monthly KPIs by generating enquiries and business using proactive telephone-based sales campaigns
  • Take an active part in team meetings and undertake training as and when required
  • Help in the recruitment and development of future team members

Requirements:

  • Desire to meet with clients and potential clients to demonstrate the company products
  • A high level of written and spoken English
  • Results-oriented with a positive outlook & a clear focus on high quality and business profit
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for delivering a great service to clients and an interest in their business operations
  • Establish a good relationship quickly with a broad range of people, particularly on the telephone
  • The ability to engage effectively with senior internal and external business leaders
  • Calm, diplomatic and effective under pressure and the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • A natural curiosity and genuine interest in client and prospective client businesses and how they operate

Target Expectations:

  • KPI´s and Targets will be established during the first week
  • The expectation will be that there is consistent month on month growth key productivity metrics such as customer visits, quotations and other productivity metrics
  • By month 12 it is expected that you will be showing the form to cover your salary each month
  • The company aims to increase the overall margin year on year reaching 30% GP in 2027
  • The current average margin is 25%
  • It is understood that acquisition margins may be as low as 15% but their needs to be a clear strategy for working these up within the first 12 months of their customer lifecycle
