PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN - SIGNS, GRAPHICS, EXHBITIONS

Hours: Monday To Friday - 9:00am to 5:00pm
Our client is a growing and dynamic exhibitions, signage and graphics company based in Wiltshire, they are currently looking for an experienced Production Allrounder to join their team.

Responsible for the preparation of all types of signs, exhibition, vinyl and printed graphics. You will be working within the print and production operation area, working with various graphic and signage machinery, including: Flat Bed Printer, Roll to Roll, CNC, Finishing equipment

Responsibilities:

  • Taking accurate instruction and running off job sheets
  • Preparation of signs and graphics ready for installation or dispatch
  • Operating large format printers
  • Application of vinyl onto various substrates
  • Processing artwork through RIP for printing
  • Produce various signs and graphics including trays, post and panel, acrylic signs, banners, large format print, and vehicle graphics
  • General upkeep & maintenance of machines

Requirements:

  • Able to demonstrate experience within a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience of Large Format Signage & Print, knowledge of vehicle graphics application would be beneficial but not essential
  • Can-do approach to challenges and requests from fellow workers & customers
  • Logical thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the foresight to identify potential issues
  • A committed can-do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team
  • Effective communicator, with excellent customer service skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Self-motivated, able to demonstrate initiative, and accept responsibility
  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines & at a fast pace
  • Able to integrate well within a small business environment
