GUILLOTINE OPERATOR

NORTH WEST

Salary Circa £22,500 (Subject to Experience) + 22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Company Workwear Provided

Hours: 37.5hrs Monday to Friday - Alternating Shifts: 5am - 12.30pm / 1pm - 8pm

Our client is a BRC accredited cartons and sleeves packaging manufacturer based in the North West, They are one of the largest companies of its kind in the UK and with an international customer-base and serve a broad range of customer sectors.

Our client has invested in new machinery and are looking to recruit an experienced Guillotine Operator to work within their Finishing Department. They currently have 2x Polar B2 Guillotines within the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trimming of Raw material ready for the Press
• Trimming/stripping out of die cut sheets
• Box and label finished goods as required
• Palletise and wrap finished goods for delivery
• Maintain guillotine including changing the blade as required using best practice
• Ensuring all appropriate Health & Safety requirements are adhered to at all times
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

Requirements:

• The ability to work in different areas within Finishing (i.e. Die cutting/Folding) would be an advantage although training can be provided
• Current Fork Lift Truck Licence would be preferable
