£40-50K salary and benefits package commensurate with experience

My client is a well-established privately owned Label Printing & Converting Group. With purpose built factories, and a reputation for high calibre decorative and embellished products, supplying into household names in the food & drinks industry through to automotive, cosmetics, electronics, healthcare and pharmaceuticals.

The core portfolio includes paper labels, reelfed polymer labels, wet glue & self adhesive, tube wraps/ wrap around labels, tamper evident & security labels, litho, digital & flexo printed with foiling, embossing & other decorative finishes.

Due to investment into expansion of the product offering, our client is looking to add a Southern Sales Manager to expand the client base. This role will be primarily to focus on business development, however you will then manage the accounts that you open in the area.

The ideal candidate will be from a premium packaging or labels sales background with a proven track record of opening new doors. An understanding of a range of print processes is a huge advantage. This is a home based role with achievable targets and comprehensive support systems already in place. However our client does have a very friendly team and a great atmosphere in the offices so popping in from time to time is no hardship!

Responsibilities:

  • Direct report into the Business Development Director
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Arranging client visits
  • Maintaining excellent customer services
  • Responsible for sales growth and strategy for label products
  • Project management, presentations and building key stakeholder relationships
  • Researching and developing new markets and products
  • Negotiating and re-negotiating contracts
