PROJECT & SOURCING MANAGER

SOUTH EAST ENGLAND - CAN BE REMOTE WORKING

Up to £40K + Sales Support Bonus + Co Performance Bonus + Pension + 20 days Holidays (increasing to 25 days with length of service) + Bank Holidays

Our Client is an innovative, profitable and well-established supplier of bespoke decorative packaging to international brand names in food and beverage markets. Prior to a long term member of the team retiring, they wish to appoint a new Project & Sourcing Manager to work alongside the outgoing Manager to gain useful skills and experience.

As a key member of the Sales Support Team you will be responsible for managing projects in conjunction with the external Sales Manager specifically for the spirits sector. You will be a confident communicator, keeping clients informed of project progress, you will also be liaising with suppliers, managing customer stock levels, new artwork, new moulds, providing costings etc.

You will ideally have experience using SAGE computer systems and spreadsheets and will have good attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as an internal point of contact for customers, managing projects and Liaising with suppliers
  • Stock Management levels for key customers
  • Developing relationships with customers at all levels
  • Accurate processing and managing of all customer requirements to include printed artwork, new moulds, design changes etc
  • Liaising with warehouse and couriers to ensure smooth and efficient despatch and delivery of stock orders

Key Skills:

  • The role is varied and busy, so great organisational skills are a must!
  • Previous experience using SAGE would be a distinct advantage
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to listen and understand information
  • Able to prioritise with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work quickly whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Good eye for detail
  • Computer literate
